While there's so much to celebrate, below are a few standout highlights that we can't help but boast about!

It’s still hard to believe, but this year was big for PATCH.

We turned 13 years old!

As an adolescent health program, we’re pretty dang proud of being a teenager. And while we have grown and changed over our 13 years, we’re still the same old PATCH keeping youth voice at the center of all we do. Our 2022-2023 program year was filled with the most incredible, curious, compassionate, and powerful voices. From lending youth perspectives on an equitable COVID response to advocating for better mental health services in schools (and SO much more), our youth were out there making an impact!

Don't take our word for it - see for yourself in our 2022-2023 Year in Review.

Pst. You can also find all of our archived reports here too!

PATCH has been recognized both locally and nationally (including the 2020 Award for Excellence in Adolescent Health from our friends at the Adolescent Health Initiative) for our innovative strategies, and our ability to convene non-traditional partners (such as folks in public health, care delivery, education, youth programming, academia, advocacy, and business) for a common purpose.

Be sure to scope us out in the Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs (AMCHP) MCH Innovations Database or the National Performance Measure (NPM) 10 & 12 Implementation Toolkits.

We love to attend both local and national conferences, meetings, and events to learn, share, and grow as adolescent health champions and advocates...especially in collaboration with youth we work with! To name a few, some of our most recent presentations were for the:

  • International Association for Adolescent Health's online international symposium: Innovations & Updates in Education & Training in Adolescent Health
  • Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs (AMCHP) Annual Conference
  • American Academy of Pediatrics Virtual Webinar Series
  • ....and more, of course!

But, maybe even more exciting (to us!) is the ability to cheer on many of our interns and replication partners disseminating and showcasing their efforts too!
